I have never heard that Lil Wayne is Haitian but it's not impossible for him to he a descendent of Haiti.

Being Real

Benjamin Franklin was born January 17, 1706 in Boston, Massachusetts. His father, Josiah Franklin, was a tallow chandler, a maker of candles and soap, whose second wife, Abiah Folger, was Benjamin's mother. Mr. Franklin had 16 siblings he was the fifteenth child and youngest son. At age 17, Franklin ran away to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, seeking a new start in a new city. Franklin married Deborah Read on September 1, 1730. In addition to raising William, Benjamin and Deborah Franklin had two children (Francis Folger Franklin & Sarah Franklin) together.

He attended Boston Latin School but did not graduate. He continued his education by doing a lot of reading. Although his parents talked of the church as a career for Franklin, his schooling ended when he was ten. He believed that "the doors to wisdom are never shut," and read every book he could get his hands on. Franklin taught himself algebra, geometry, navigation, logic, history, science, English grammar, and a working knowledge of five other languages.

In 1733, Franklin began to publish the famous Poor Richard's Almanack under the Pen name Richard Saunders, on which much of his popular reputation is based. Franklin was a great inventor. Among his many creations was, the lightning rod, the glass harmonica, the Franklin stove, & bifocal glasses. In 1743, Franklin founded the American Philosophical Society to help scientific men discuss their discoveries and theories. Franklin died on April 17, 1790, at age 84. He was interred in Christ Church Burial Ground in Philadelphia.

Lorraine Hansberry
 
 Lorraine Hansberry was born May 19, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents Carl Augustus Hansberry, who was a prominent real estate broker, and Nanny Perry Hansberry had four children including Lorraine. She grew up on the South Side of Chicago in the Woodlawn area. When Lorraine was eight, her parents bought a house in a white neighborhood, where they were welcomed one night by a racist mob. Their experi-ence of discrimination there led to a civil rights case. Hansberry attended a predominantly white public school while her parents fought against segregation. She married Robert Nemiroph, a Jewish literature student and songwriter, in 1953. They separated in 1957 and divorced in 1964.
 She studied art at the University of Wisconsin and in Mexico. In Wisconsin she joined the Young Progressives of America and later the Labor Youth League. After attending a school performance of a play by the Irish playwright Sean O\'Casey, she decided to be-come a writer. In 1950 she dropped out of college and moved to New York. She took classes in writing at the New School for Social Research and worked as an associate edi-tor of Paul Robeson\'s Freedom.
 Hansberry began pursuing a career in writing. Influenced by her father’s dedication to civil rights, Hansberry wrote the play A Raisin in the Sun, which opened to great reviews in New York. A Raisin in the Sun was about a black family in Chicago who struggle against racism and try to reach their dream of living the good life. Somewhat a represen-tation of her own family’s experience with neighborhood segregation, the family in A Raisin in the Sun also attempts to move into an all-white neighborhood. On January 12, 1965, Hansberry died of pancreatic cancer.

Arthur Miller

Arthur Miller

Arthur Miller was born October 7, 1915 in New York City, New York. He was the only child his parents (Isidore and Augusta Miller had. His father owned a women's clothes/coat-manufacturing business, which failed in the Wall Street Crash of 1929. Miller spent his boyhood playing foorball and baseball, reading adventure stories, and appearing generally as a nonintellectual. After which his family moved to Humbler Quarters in Brooklyn. On August 5, 1940, he married his college sweetheart, Mary Slattery, the Catholic daughter of an insurance salesman. The couple had two children, Jane and Robert.

Because of the effects the Great Depression had on his family, Miller had no money for college after graduating in 1932 from Abraham Lincoln High School. After securing a place at the University of Michigan, he worked in a number of menial jobs to pay for his tuition. At the University of Michigan, Miller first majored in journalism, where he became the reporter and night editor on the student paper, the Michigan Daily. In 1938, Miller received his bachelor's degree in English. Miller retained strong ties to his alma mater throughout the rest of his life, establishing the university's Arthur Miller Award in 1985 and Arthur Miller Award for Dramatic Writing in 1999.

In 1944 Miller wrote The Man Who Had All The Luck, which won the Theater Guild's National Award. Things changed in 1947, when Miller's All My Sons was produced at the Coronet Theater. The play was directed by Elia Kazan, with whom Miller would have a continuing professional and personal relationship, and ran for three hundred and twenty-eight performances. In 1948 Miller built a small studio in Roxbury, Connecticut, a town that was to be his long time home. There, within the space of six weeks, he wrote Death of a Salesman, the work for which he is best known. Miller died at his home in Roxbury of congestive heart on the evening of February 10, 2005 at the age of 89, surrounded by his family.
