On Monday night August 15, 2005 Carl Fombrun had the opportunity to meet an interview Haitian presidential candidate Charles Henry Baker.
the meeting took place at Carl's Residence in Miami Florida the location where his TV show Carl's Corner is recorded.

I am sorry - this Charles Henry Baker he does not seem qualified. Haitians need to look in a more serious direction for the country; not some TV personality. It seem we all have a love for Haiti but that is not good enough. It's like you may love a person dearly, but love alone does not pay the bills!!! So, moving foward, I think we need to start looking at Dumarsais Simeus, a self made millionaire and CEO of his own company in Texas. He is business savvy and I am sure very well connected. It is reported that he is planning to go public for his candidancy to be president. Lets see what happens. I am all for Haiti moving into the 21st century and to let go of the slave mentally. Poor people cannot be president, what do they have to loose?
They have everything to gain by being corrupt, and as icing to the cake their punishment for filling up their pockest and robbing us blind is to leave the country with all the money they took and go enjoy is somewhere else.
