Everyone has their own personal reasons for leaving their homeland to join the MINUSTAH and "Help" Haiti. for two Filipino soldiers, that reason was a good one...
Their Tickect To The American Dream!
Here is a brand new recipe for coming to America illegally:
Prepared by two filipino " Chèf "
- Join the army in your country
- Pray that something goes wrong in Haiti (when things go wrong in Haiti, everyone wins except Haitians!)
- Offer to join the UN Mission "because you love Haiti so much and you are dying to help"
- Be a really good boy so you can get in the R&R Mission to Florida - 'R&R' stands for 'Rest and Recreation' Mission. I bet you didn't know that.
- Once you get to florida, Mission accomplished, You are now in the land of opportunity
This recipe was cooked up by two Filipino UN peacekeepers, One is a Navy Lieutenant, the other is a Marines Sergent.

I believe it may work for haitians as well but we don't try. Let me tell you this. The fillipino comes here most likely he will try to make his dream come true which is the American way but most of us come here, we go straight to the factory and forget our dreams. I know we all try to make it for our kids but think about that, we are in a country where education is free a country where one is paid to have degrees.
If we come here just to own a car and a house people will always think that we are not much worthy.
Let us start from here: Tell your dads, your aunts, your mums to go learn manual skills. plumbing, welding, massonery, electricity,nursing etc. let us start thinking ahead and be part of the US team. There was a time we would be refused a degree but now it is more than free...let go...

I told him that he and his father put Haiti where it is right now. I hope he recieved it.

i think if haitien cab pull it up moore power to them, i have to problem go for it
